Beachy shores can come in a rainbow of colors, but there's something especially stark (and breathtaking) about jet volcanic sands. While Hawaii is probably the most famous destination when it comes to dark-colored coasts, countries around the world -such as our shore-- also feature volcanic sand waterfronts.
The Pacific Ocean on this side of the Peninsula is not flat: it has character. The height and intensity of the waves varies with the Seasons, but they are not at all disappointing through the year.
