Santa Elena sits at the feet of extinct Volcan Cosigüina, on the Northwestern Pacific coast of Nicaragua. With her shimmering gray sands of volcanic origin, it is the closest thing to a Hawaiian beach this side of the Pacific rim. Less than 3 hours from the US, Mexico and South America, Santa Elena is located on one of the last untouched beaches of the Pacific, and keeps yearlong warm weather (80 to 85 °F) with an impressive surf.
One arrives to Santa Elena through interstate highway NIC 50. Managua is less that 4 hours away. Santa Elena communicated with surrounding airports by airplane (Mr. Frizell had a landing strip on the Plantation until 1979). A similar runway could be built to allow direct access from Managua and other points: There are 12 small and 3 International airports within 110 miles. Honduras and El Salvador are also less than 4 hours driving.
The Plantation for Sale is flanked by river “De la Hacienda”. This river could be used as an ample source fresh natural clean water for the maintenance of a water park. The river could also be exploited for kayaking or water skiing.
